Lambs are shorn at least once, usually at about 6 months of age. Shearing is all done on-site, by employees. Custom built shearing stage has 2 shearing stations, and was designed to move lambs up, onto the stage, through the shearing station and back out to the feeding area smoothly with as little stress to the animal as possible. Sheared lambs stay cleaner and free of parasites.
